She was a journalist for more than 25 years writing for the leading UK newspapers including The Daily Telegraph, The Sun, Daily Mail, Daily Mirror, as well as numerous Sunday broadsheets and magazines.Later she entered broadcasting and finished her career as Editor at Capital FM in the East Midlands. She has also written for the national broadcasters BBC and ITV.
She lives in Nottinghamshire and is a proud working-class writer who loves to examine the relationships between women, whether that’s best friends, mother and daughter, or strangers meeting for the first time.
